The Wobbling Wanderers are a common sight to anyone who may have visited a WOBBL team stadium. For many years now they have been providing their chefs to the league. Whilst feeding all who are hungry, the Wanderers became hungry themselves for Blood Bowl fame.

Being a rag tag bunch Halflings, however, they have always struggled to to find a coach to take them seriously. Most coaches just laugh at the idea, normally through a mouthful of one of their delicious pies.

Will YOU take on the challenge and lead these feisty Halflings to victory? Or at least just look after them for a season?

Coaching the Wobbling Wanderers does bring a few stipulations:

• The Wobbling Wanderers are going to need the very best coaches they can get and therefore the winning coach of the previous season is the first choice to coach the team for the following season. If that coach declines then that opportunity goes to the 2nd placed coach in the league, then 3rd …etc. The Wanderers really aren’t that fussy as they just want to play!!
• There is no requirement for any coach to take the Wobbling Wanderers. They are used to being left on the sidelines and won’t take too much offence. They can always have the day job to fall back on.
• At the end of the season the Wobbling Wanderers are redrafted by the league commissioner, always aiming to retain all the players who have survived.
• Due to the difficulty of trying to get these Halflings to focus on playing rather than eating, no coach is allowed to take the Wobbling Wanderers two years in a row due to the danger of coaching fatigue.
• The Wanderers enjoy their time in the limelight. As such each coach is expected to write an inspiring summary of the highs (and lows) of the team at the end of the season.
